Grade Graduation 2008 & Banner Day
Take a look at pictures
taken of our 6th graders as they presented their speeches
and accepted their ceramic pots. Included are photos of the
"moving up" ceremony of Banner Day, now a long-time
tradition of Oak Lane on the last day of school.

Luther King Jr Day Community Service Projects
Take a tour through our day on January 21, first to make
peanut & butter sandwiches (1,370 of them!) at Oak Lane
for the Stenton Family Manor, then to Sunrise Assisted Living
in Lafayette Hill where our orchestra and chorus members delighted
the crowd. The last stop was to the Evergreen Adult Day Center
in Chestnut Hill. Students and family members played games
and made crafts together with the seniors.

2007: Bread & More Bread!
Watch
as a pile of bricks was transformed into an oven, when a sourdough
starter that has traveled the world for 180 years arrived
here to make our bread rise, and when a master builder and
baker, Dorise Kowalewski, brought her knowledge and experience
to teach us all, big and small, how to make the most delicious
bread ever.
